Why does the display show no readings?
If the display shows "00A" but the battery is not fully charged, check and secure all connections. If the screen shows "off" or remains blank, verify the charger's voltage setting and ensure the circuit breaker on the back is not tripped.
Why does the green light not turn on when charging a lithium battery?
The charger’s green light activates at a preset voltage, but the BMS in lithium batteries controls charging and may have a lower cutoff. The BMS can stop charging before the light turns green, and the charger stops, but the indicator may not change.
Why is the charging current display on the charger different from the ammeter reading?
The charger uses pulse current; the display shows the peak. AC mode on an ammeter matches the display; DC mode shows the effective value (half the displayed value). This is normal.
My 36V lithium battery stops charging at 41V. Is the charger broken?
No. The battery's BMS stops charging early for safety. As long as the charger outputs power, it is working correctly. This is a battery protection feature, not a charger fault. Please check if the lithium battery is in normal condition.
